Sysa

Sysa is our only rosé; for years, we have chosen Syrah and Sangiovese grapes as a base for this wine.
Our main effort is to bring into the cellar red grapes that have a ripe flavor but not an excessive gradation; the difficulties multiply when collecting liquid a few hours after the grapes have been destemmed and placed in the vat. It is very important for the future evaluation of the product. The floral and fruity flavors and a pleasant freshness make our rosé easy to pair with white meats and seafood, great for aperitifs and for combinations with fruit desserts.

PRODUCTION METHOD:
The manual harvest takes place in early September, the must is put to settle for 48 hours, fermented in stainless steel vats where it rests in fine lees for about a month. Matured 6 months in steel tanks and aged in bottles for 3 months.

TASTING NOTES:
Soft pink color, intense and rich, with fragrant notes of grapefruit, blonde orange and berries with floral hints of rose. In the mouth, it is slightly tangy, balanced, long ending with a fruity return.
