Our territory where international vines have the maximum expression, combining Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot has been a rewarding choice over the years. In the month of August, Merlot is harvested early in the morning. Careful selection in the vineyard on small bunches (about 500 g per plant) gives us a guarantee of the highest quality. The operation is then repeated in the first days of September with the Cabernet Sauvignon. The result is a full-bodied but elegant wine, complex due to its tertiary aromas that derive from the characteristics of the soil rich in clay and minerals.
PRODUCTION METHOD:
manual harvesting of the grapes, maceration in vitrified cement tanks at a temperature of 24° where it remains for about 21 days, ages in French oak barriques for 14 months before being bottled for 2 years of ageing.
TASTING NOTES:
Intense ruby red hue, aromas of myrtle and eucalyptus emerge on the nose together with blueberry and blackcurrant berries, an evolution of dark chocolate emerges and a hint of leather and spices. In the mouth it is warm and soft, with good structure, velvety tannins and a long finish.
