    ANNO:

    Kalsi

    From 15,00

    Clear

The Kalsi is a fresh, fragrant wine. Excellent aperitif for a peaceful drink on a hot summer afternoon. This is one of our original wines that we have produced for more than 15 years from the typical Tuscan white grape Vermentino. Its characteristics are due to the clay soil and heat of Val Di Cornia tempered by sea breezes coming up the hills as an amphitheater around the territory of Suvereto. It is a wine with very low sulfites, a characteristic that appeals even to the most refined palates. This is an excellent aperitif wine to drink peacefully on a hot summer afternoon or paired with fish dishes, white meat with grilled vegetables.

    PRODUCTION METHOD:
Manual harvest, maximum attention to collection and production temperatures with extensive use of inert gases to avoid oxidation. Soft pressing to obtain the juice, then held for 48 hours at low temperatures for clarification; this is followed by fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature until all the sugar is exhausted. Rests in steel for 6 months and 3 months in bottles.

    TASTING NOTES:
The bright greenish-yellow luminous tones range from floral hawthorn to nectarine and lime, acacia scents and herbs; all the fragrances are well-defined and linked. The palate is hot and intense, with exquisite flavor, characterized by lively freshness, and it is delicate and balanced, fine and clean with mineral notes.
