    ANNO:

    Bixbi

    From 15,00

    Clear

This wine was created thinking about the summer cuisine of the coast, ideal for those who enjoy drinking red wine even in summer. Syrah and Sangiovese grapes are the basis of this fresh and youthful product. We want to find the balance between a spicy and expressive nose with a delicate and elegant taste. A peculiarity of this wine is the temperature at which it can be tasted. It is at its best at 15/16°. This makes it particularly enjoyable as an aperitif or paired with fish soups. In main courses with a complexity of flavors, Bixbi is the perfect wine.

    PRODUCTION METHOD:
Hand-picked grapes macerate separately in vitrified cement vats at a controlled temperature for about 15 days. After clarification, the malolactic phase follows; the blend is created at this point considering the percentages of Sangiovese and Syrah. The Bixbi rests for 12 months in cement at low temperature before switching to refining in the bottle for at least one year.

    TASTING NOTES:
Purple in color, it expresses itself at first sip with a great fruit flavor, blackberry and blueberry, hints of violet, gradually highlighting the delicate spiciness of green pepper. There is an important structure behind the typical fragrance of the vintages from which it came, but exploding with grace after a few sips, conquering the palate. Good persistence with silky tannins, spicy aftertaste.
