    ANNO:

    Faden

    From 13,00

    Clear

The Faden is a wine derived from modern processing techniques, traditionally produced by the farmers of the area of Suvereto and now abandoned. To achieve it, we have adopted a 50-year-old vineyard consisting mostly of plants of Trebbiano, Clarette and Ansonica. The characteristic of this vineyard is its random alternation, so the grapes are picked for a single pressing assembling the grapes in the wooden wine press and juicing them all together. This obtains a very balanced product with delicate and exclusive perfumes, a bit retro, brilliant in its simplicity because these kind of wines no longer exist. With its slender and soft body, it can be paired with virtually any food.

    PRODUCTION METHOD:
The grapes are picked by hand and immediately stored in cold room for 24 hours at 8° degrees thereafter stemmed and pressed. The resulting must is cooled at a temperature of 7 degrees for 48 hours; the clarified liquid is fermented in steel for about 20 days at 16°, resting in fine lees for 6 months and 3 months in the bottle.

    TASTING NOTES:
Straw yellow with golden reflections, with rich and complex nose with notes of broom, citrus, green apple, white peachs and subtle mineral undertones. Balanced, clean and pleasant on the palate.
